(The journey of awareness from material to spiritual space)
The experience of being aware that everything is an extention of your observation.
Our thoughts are relative. Whenever we observe anything, the mind starts thinking about it. Awareness is observing without that thinking. Observing might be any one of the sensory input - seeing, hearing etc. Pure awareness leads to the "state of being" - fully, observing the sense of being or the spiritual presence.
Awareness at different levels, which are part of meditation -
Awareness of any external object.
Awareness of being present as a body.
Awareness of being present as spirit (the sense of being).
It is also possible to be aware of your actions, thoughts or emotions. It is observing them without getting into a chain of thoughts or emotions. If you practise observing your thoughts you will find that one thought leads to another and so on. Observing your thoughts will make you aware of the thought process which goes on continuously in your mind. This is the awareness of being present as a mind!
Being completely aware of your actions. No thought other than what you are doing, thus being completely at sync with your body and mind.
Being aware of or focussed at something infront of you. No thought other than what you see. Not even about the object you see.
Being completely aware of what you are listening to. Focus on the sound or the silence. No thought or interpretation of those sounds.
Being fully aware of your breathe. Inhale and exhale without any thought arising in your mind.
Being fully aware of your physical presence as body.
Being fully aware of your mind and trying to find its location in your body.
Find the location of your presence in your body. Are you present in your entire body? What is the most likely place where you think, you are present in your body?
Finding the source of your thoughts. From where are these thoughts arising in your mind?
Try not to think. Being at rest both physically and mentally.
